Lisa Kvistad
Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning

Lisa has over 25 years of experience in education. Lisa spent 13 years as a classroom teacher prior to entering administration as a Director of Instruction. She then spent 11 years as an elementary principal in MMSD at Elvehjem Elementary and Lowell Elementary. Lisa was the Director of Literacy and State & Federal Programs during the 2012-2013 school year prior to becoming the new Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.

Lisa Kvistad is the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. Teaching and Learning brings together the following departments as part of a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS):

Early and Extended Learning
Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
Multilingual and Global Education
State and Federal Programs
Student Services
Advanced Learning

Career and Technical Education
